Building Training Skills in a Team to Promote Inclusion

This training is aimed at developing the skills and knowledge of a core group of trainers who would in turn be able to offer a further level of accessibility training across a Local Authority area or region in line with recent legislative changes. Inclusion or the ‘presumption toward mainstream’ would be explored at both the level of values and practical implications.

Keys to Inclusion: Training and Support Package

  • Building Capacity for Inclusion
  • Planning for Inclusion
  • Staff Development and Training
  • Quality and Attainment

This training is aimed at developing the skills and knowledge of a core group of trainers who would in turn be able to offer a further level of accessibility training across a Local Authority area or region in line with recent legislative changes. Inclusion or the ‘presumption toward mainstream’ would be explored at both the level of values and practical implications.

This training allows trainers to offer workshop/training days, both values primers and a practical guide to successful strategies for developing inclusive practice in educational settings for children and young people of all ages.

There’s no better way to get set up, get trained, and get going on your inclusive training. The most knowledgeable trainers will teach you all the basics in face-to-face training sessions, and guide you through more advanced concepts and ideas. So whether you’re brand-new to inclusion training, a seasoned pro, or somewhere in between, we will help take your skills to the next level.

Testimonials

“We are privileged and delighted that Colin and Derek are returning to Galway to work with us. The training event in April was a truly amazing learning experience for us as trainers. For those of you who have not had the opportunity to participate so far – you don’t know what you’ve been missing!”
