Peer Mediation In Schools

Could your school benefit from our peer mediation?

As much as we hate to admit it, bullying is something that goes on in the playground and is something that must be tackled. Whilst there are plenty of steps put in place to look after the victim and the bully, our peer mediation offers a solution with a different approach.

Our peer mediation is all about training young people to become peer mediators and help those who are suffering from bullying. Over 6 interactive learning workshops, young people (Year 5s – Year 10s) learn everything there is to know about this “radical” approach and become part of this highly effective method that has excellent results.

Alternatively we offer a day’s training for adults in setting up such a scheme:

The learning objectives cover:

  • To be able to understand the values and wider context of peer support
  • To understand and be able to maximise the power of the peer group in supporting relationships, achievement and behaviour change
  • To be able to set up and run a peer counselling scheme to reduce bullying

This course is suitable for parents, advanced teachers, heads, deputies, community development workers and many others in similar fields. If you’d like to take part in this or any of our other innovative and educational courses, take a look around our website today.
